Summary:
The Mellow Dramatics are pleased to announce their next production: A Christmas Carol - The Musical, based on the famous tale written by Charles Dickens which is coming to Burton on Trent in January 2012.
The musical opens as carols are being sung and lamps are glowing. Christmas is near and all are awaiting the early close of the Exchange so the holiday can officially start. From bankers to charwomen, all wish each other "A Jolly Good Time," looking forward to the holiday fun ahead.
Later that evening Ebenezer Scrooge is awakened on Christmas Eve by three spirits who reveal to him his own miserable existence, what opportunities he wasted in his youth, his current cruelties, and the dire fate that awaits him if he does not change his ways.
Will Scrooge manage to alter his future in time to enjoy Christmas day?
